Dear FCF Family members,
We are living in a situation that is unprecedented in our lifetimes. The COVID-19 global pandemic is affecting nearly everyone and touching almost every aspect of our daily lives. While we all practice social distancing, it is essential to stay connected to those we care about in our FCF family. I wanted to reach out to you to let you know that the Future Citizens Foundation and our First Tee, PIF, and Taylor Farms Center for Learning staff are thinking about you and all our participants, partners, and donors. This disease has afflicted over a million people worldwide, with all too often tragic consequences. We have made to date over 3,300 phone calls and touches to families and donors.
Even in our sadness and struggle, we are resilient and determined. This is an opportunity for us to choose to stand together instead of falling apart. The Future Citizens Foundation is in the business of developing and expanding human potential. We exist to make the world a better place. Our pace must not slow as we continue to strive to do the good work that does great things for youth and families.
I encourage you to visit the FCF website at for a shot in the arm of encouraging stories about how our First Tee, Pay It Forward, and Taylor Farms Center for Learning programs has and is making a difference. We also have upcoming stories on how we assisted in providing food for families of the Alisal School Union School District.
We also want to be a bright spot for you while you are sheltering in place safely in your homes. The FCF team is working with the school districts to develop and offer new virtual educational and fun opportunities for participants in this challenging time. Later next week, through our digital environment, we will provide you information regarding the history of our programs and events. We are working on other initiatives designed to bring us together and celebrate the FCF success you have caused.
As we reach out to help our neighbors during this uncertain time, please be sure to take time to take care of yourself and your loved ones. Be safe. Stay home. Practice social distancing, wash your hands frequently and take other recommended precautions.
On behalf of FCF family, I want you to know that we are here for you, and we want to hear from you. If you have any questions or ideas about how we can help to make a difference, big or small, please send us an email to email@example.com.
In my thoughts,
